As a teacher, Tina is on the faculty at Colburn Community School of Performing Arts. She had also taught at Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Her students have won prizes in competitions and scholarships. Among them, they have continued on at the Harvard University, Juilliard, Oberlin and Eastman School of Music. She has been invited to serve on the panel of American String Teachers Association California Competitions and the panel judge for Certificate of Merits. She also has been invited to give recital & master-classes at Soochow University in China.

All her students are very appreciative of her teaching in the style that is focused, insightful, fun and encouraging. She also emphasizes on the development of the musicality. As the result, her students always make rapid improvements over short periods of time.
